I also played substantial roles in the Hurricane Katrina cleanup, the Cadmium Standard and also the Methyl Isocyanate method development work in response to the Bhopal, India disaster in 1984.

More
I have received recognition and awards for my management accomplishments including “Secretary of Labor Exceptional Achievement Awards” .
I have spent many years learning what works and what doesn’t work. I wish there had been someone to share those kind of “lessons learned” with me when I was in my early years but there was no one. I decided I would like to share that with other managers via my websites.
I think the following quotes say it all.
“A smart business person is one who makes a mistake, learns from it, and never makes it again.
A wise business person is one who finds a smart business person and learns from him how to avoid the mistakes he made.”
Jim Abrams
“You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t possibly live long enough to make them all yourself.” Sam Levenson
“Before you hire an expert, determine that the person’s expert status comes from experience, not theory. I suggest you hire experts with real-world experience: someone with bruises and battle scars” Dan S. Kennedy , popular speaker and author.
As of early 2010 in just several months I already had well over 1200 subscribers and many purchasers of my ebooks and other material. Many are from all over the world. Many are from well known companies here and abroad. Nearly 300 are signing up each month and that number is growing.
I do know very well how to deal with employees, how to motivate them, how to manage them, and how to get the maximum performance out of them. I understand human nature and human psychology.
What I do not know are the laws of other countries in regard to employees and the cultures of other countries that may impact employee motivation, management, and performance.
I will provide my lessons learned about employee motivation, employee management, and employee performance. You are welcome to take and use what will work for you and your situation.
To Your Success!
Lois Moncrief
